Une épreuve évidemment remportée par l'intouchable Sara Takanashi avec 228 points et plus de 10 points d'avance sur sa coéquipière Yuki Ito, prête à suivre les traces de sa leader dès l'an prochain.
La Finlandaise Julia Kykkaenen complète le podium avec 207.4 points.
La Vosgienne Julia Clair avait son premier top 3 dans les jambes sur ce premier concours de Falun en terminant à seulement un petit dixième de point de la Finlandaise.
Coline Mattel, médaillée de bronze aux JO, prend la 10e place suivie par Léa Lemare 11e. Une fois encore les Françaises réalisent un sacré tir groupé avec une Julia Clair désormais capable de finir tout devant.
De très bonne augure pour la suite.
On retrouvera les filles dimanche pour un deuxième concours sur le tremplin H100 de Falun.

Sara Takanashi (JPN): ”We had to wait a long time and had many delays because of the wind but I was ready for the competition and the result was good. I tried to keep me concentrated for the the time. It is very good to have some jumps here before next years World Championships. I know I need to improve for the next year.”
Yuki Ito (JPN): ”I had a good wind for the both rounds and these were my best jumps during the hole season. I was kind of expecting delays so I think I could keep my concentration on a good level for the competition. Jumping from the new hill was a good experience for me.”
Julia Kykkänen (FIN): ”The first jump was pretty good and the second jump was even better so this is the result. When we arrived to the hill and could see the flags I knew the competition will be delayed. I just tried to stay focused. This is a new style hill and I like it, looking forward for the World Championships here next year.”
