Kamil Stoch (POL): "Maybe I'm always doing so well here because I like this hill. We can jump over 140 m here and this is nice, it's not a normal large hill and I like the atmosphere here as well. It was great to win in Zakopane in front of the home crowd, for me this is not a normal World Cup it's as important as World Championships. I don't feel any pain in my ankle, it's not a problem anymore".

Peter Prevc (SLO): "I'm very satisfied with today's competition, it was really tough with a lot of long jumps. If you see the competitors before you are jumping really long, you know you have to be even better to beat them. I had two really great jumps and I'm satisfied with the result."

Severin Freund (GER): "It was a really nice competition on a high level. Unfortunately I lost a little bit with my first jump, but then I was the best in the second round. I had a very good jump and it is great that it was enough to be on the podium. The three of us were on the podium here last year as well, so it seems we are doing something right here. Tomorrow we will do our best to win the third team event in a row, but the competition are always really tight."
