Severin Freund (GER): "I was jumping very well here, but also everything else went perfectly for me. It might have looked as if I dominated the last four competitions, but it didn't feel that way because you have to fight for every win. I have a technique that allows me to jump well in all kinds of conditions when I'm in a good shape and that makes it easier for me, especially in Scandinavia. The overall World Cup is not decided yet. Peter showed in Vikersund what he is capable of on a ski flying hill and this won't be any different at home."

Noriaki Kasai (JPN): "I am very happy about this result, because I haven't been on the podium for a while. Actually I wanted to win, but with my good shape right now I might be able to win in Planica. I hope I can do that there and I'm looking forward to the next competitions.

Kamil Stoch (POL): "I have been working really hard to get in a good shape for almost two months and I knew that I'm so close and something was always missing and I didn't know what it was. Today everything went well, especially in the second round and so I'm really happy. I was sick in Lahti and I spent one day in the hospital. After two or three days everything was normal again. Now I'm healthy and happy. I can't wait for the competitions in Planica, it's one of my favorite hills and I love ski flying.

Peter Prevc (SLO):“  First round was not really good for me, i made a mistake at the take off. Second round was then really good. I knew what went wrong in the first round so i made the second jump better. Severin is really strong in the moment, when you look at his jumps everything looks so easy. We will see what Planica brings."
