Richard Freitag (GER): This is a win for the OC in Klingenthal, they did an amazing job. Without them, this would not have been possible. I knew that I'm in a good shape, I'm satisfied with my performance and now I try to be consistent. It was a lot of fun today. It was a good start for us. If you saw Peter Prevc jumping today, it's obvious that he is the benchmark."

Anze Lanisek (SLO): "I feel great now, hopefully we will have more moments like this during the season. I'm satisfied with my performances today, I gave my best. I hope I can score some World Cup points in tomorrow's competition and that I can remain on the team until the final in Planica."

Gregor Schlierenzauer (AUT): "It's always nice to be on the podium, and it's especially nice with the team. For us this was a great start of the season. I still have some room for improvement and there are still some things to do, but all in all it's great to be on the podium.

I was already confident yesterday, that we would be able to jump today. If you know the guys here in Klingenthal, you know that they leave nothing to chance."
