Gregor Schlierenzauer (AUT): ”The second jump today was a real „“Schlierenzauer-jump“. I’m very happy now and this victory is really worth a lot, especially after my injury. It was important for me to see that I can still win, and that was not easy after Kuusamo. The other athletes are also very strong and so we see some exciting competitions.”

Thomas Morgenstern (AUT): "It was a long hard way back on the podium. I gained a lot of experiences and it was not always easy. Now I'm back, even if I still have some potential. This second place gives me strength and I hope that I can follow up on this success tomorrow."

Adam Malysz (POL): "I'm very happy about my 3rd place today. My shape is for sure much better than my place in Kuusamo showed, that was just bad luck. Here I jumped really well. I showed that I can compete against the best jumpers. My jumping has to be on the high level, otherwise I would not place on the podium here. The conditions in the first round were not perfect, the snow was a bit sticky at the inrun, but in the 2nd round it was much better thanks to prejumpers. I'm happy about seeing here so many supporters from Poland. I thank them for coming here."
