Ce n'est pas encore les fêtes mais les Polonais ont pris de l'avance.
Jamais dans l'histoire du saut à ski, ils n'avaient encore réussi à placer deux hommes sur le podium deux fois consécutivement. Des Polonais qui avaient attendu 33 ans pour trouver des successeurs à Fijas et Bobak.
Kamil Stoch, champion du monde en titre, et la révélation Jan Ziobro sont de dignes héritiers.
Après la victoire surprise de Ziobro samedi, le duo récidive avec pour cette fois une victoire de Stoch, sa 9e en coupe du monde, qui lui permet de consolider sa place de leader au général.
Gregor Schlierenzauer, 4e de ce concours domincal à Engelberg, aura fort à faire pour devancer le, ou les, Polonais durant la prochaine Tournée, et surtout pour le général de la coupe du monde.
Le surprenant Ziobro confirme donc sa victoire avec une très belle troisième place juste derrière l'Allemand Andreas Wellinger, venu se poser en deuxième position au bon moment. Soit sur l'ultime concours avec cette Tournée des 4 Tremplins qui succitent tant d'intérêt chez nos voisins de langue Allemande.
On soulignera la nouvelle belle performance de l'Autrichien Diethart, révélation du week-end, et le petit 17e rang de Simon Ammann devant son public d'Engelberg. Le Suisse se dit pourtant en grande forme.
Côté Français c'est une 39e place pour Vincent Descombes-Sevoie et une 40e pour Ronan Lamy-Chappuis.

Kamil Stoch (POL): "I'm very happy about the win and that I get to wear the yellow bib. I'm very proud to wear it after Adam Malysz. Adam was one of the greatest ski jumpers and athletes. I was already among the favorites for the 4-Hills-Tournament before this weekend, that's nothing new for me. I will now enjoy the break and then we'll be well prepared for the 4-hills-Tournament."
Andreas Wellinger (GER): "Today was definitely a lot better than yesterday for me. I showed two good jumps and now I'm more than happy with the second place. The pressure for the 4-Hills-Tournament is about the same as last year, because I was also second here back then. I like this hill, there's mostly tail wind. Now we won't jump until the 4-Hills-Tournament, it will be an exhausting trip and we want to be fit when it starts."
Jan Ziobro (POL): "I didn't feel too much pressure before today's competition. My take-off was not good in my first jump, in the second round everything was okay. After my win yesterday I spoke to my mother on the phone and she told me that a lot was going on in Poland."
