Severin Freund (GER):

This summer it went really well for me so far. It's always difficult for me to jump in Hinterzarten and I started to jump really well there in the second competition round. Then we were training in Courchevel and it worked well. It's still early in the summer, but it's nice to be among the best. The overall ranking is not important for me because after Einsiedeln I'll skip a lot of competitions. I think it's bad that  there are no large hill competitions towards the end of the summer because I always considered the event in October very valuable before the winter."

Kento Sakuyama (JPN): "I made a lot of changes, regarding my equipment for example. I use shorter skis now and it seems that works well. Last season was my first full World Cup season and this helped me because I gained experiences and knew what to work on. This is probably also a reason why I'm jumping so well right now."

Peter Prevc (SLO: "I'm satisfied with both jumps, especially after the jump in the trial round on only 108 m. So I'm really happy that I was able to focus on the good jumps in the competition and succeeded. When I jump well, I like the hill in Einsiedeln, otherwise I don't."
