Jaka Hvala (SLO): "It was a very special day for me. After the trial round I was really angry because my jump was not good. But the jumps in the competition were great. We are not thinking about the prize money of the Team Tour yet and are focusing on the jumps in Oberstdorf. The World Championships in Val di Fiemme will be my first, so it's not about the results for me. I want to compete there, have fun and show good jumps. That's my goal. Our team spirit is very good and we get along well, that's what makes us strong. But we are definitely not unbeatable."

Taku Takeuchi (JPN): "I'm very happy, my jumps today were really good. Competitions in Austria and Germany are always special, we Japanese enjoy jumping here. I knew before the first jump today that the conditions will be difficult and I have to stay extremely focused in order to be successful. I was able to do that today."

Gregor Schlierenzauer (AUT): "It's another nice day for me, I'm satisfied and it's always special to stand on the podium. It was very difficult and the conditions were changing, but I had the necessary luck. Klingenthal is a nice facility, I always enjoy coming here. My jumps were not perfect today, I still have room for improvement until the World Championships. There's still some time until the WSC and we will see who will have something to celebrate there."
