Burnham Beeches Half Marathon 2026 – Live Results | Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire

The Burnham Beeches Half Marathon & 10K celebrates its 45th running on Sunday 9 August 2026, with Race HQ at Caldicott School in Farnham Common, South Buckinghamshire. Organised by the Burnham Joggers and first held in the early 1980s — originally as an off-road affair on the Portman Estate, complete with stiles — it has grown into one of the county's longest-established running events. Both courses run on a mix of closed rural roads and hard-surfaced paths through the cool shade of Burnham Beeches, one of southern England's most important National Nature Reserves. The Half Marathon covers two laps for 13.1 miles (around 140m of elevation, mostly flat) and starts at 9:15am; the 10K is a single lap, starting at 9:30am. By popular demand, the course is again run in reverse (clockwise) in 2026. The event takes a deliberately low-impact approach: no finisher shirt, minimal plastics, and runners encouraged to bring their own bottles to refill from taps in the race village — though every finisher receives a newly designed commemorative medal, part of an interlinking set with the club's Beaconsfield 5 and Cliveden Classic races. Two water stations serve the course. Free race parking is at Huntswood Farm in Slough; nearest stations are Burnham (2.8mi), Taplow, Slough and Beaconsfield. Results: Kronosports.
