Results — Official → 🌐 cairnsmarathon.com.au →The Cairns Marathon Festival runs its 2026 edition across Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July 2026, based at Fogarty Park on the Cairns Esplanade, Queensland, Australia. Organised by Atlas Multisports, the event is built on an AIMS/AWA-certified measured course that loops through the heart of Cairns and along the Esplanade foreshore, with the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics rainforest as a backdrop. The 2026 programme features the 7News Marathon (42.2km, run over 4 laps, individually or as a relay team of 2 or 4), the McDonald's Half Marathon (21.1km, 2 laps), the Reef Magic 10km, the Oaks 5km Run and Royal Rehab Lifeworks 5km Walk, and the RMH North Australia 2km Family Dash, open to prams and wheelchair entrants. Every distance for the 2026 edition is now fully sold out. Proceeds primarily benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities North Australia, which funds the Palm Cove family retreat, alongside partner charities Make-A-Wish Australia, Cure Cancer and the Indigenous Marathon Foundation. Post-race entertainment and the event hub take over Fogarty Park for the full weekend.
