FirstEnergy Akron Marathon 2026 – Live Results | Akron, Ohio

The FirstEnergy Akron Marathon, Half Marathon & Team Relay is the marquee event of the Akron Marathon Race Series presented by Summa Health, held on Saturday 26 September 2026 in Akron, Ohio. First run in 2003, the race celebrates the 20th year of its Half Marathon in 2026. Runners and walkers begin and end in downtown Akron, on an unforgettable foot-tour that passes the Akron Art Museum, the University of Akron, Firestone Park, the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, Sand Run Parkway, the Stan Hywet Estate and Highland Square, before reaching the iconic Blue Line finish at Lock 3. The Half Marathon course climbs through the University of Akron campus past Dale Chihuly's rock-candy sculpture, crests its toughest hill on Buchtel Avenue around mile eight, and winds through the International District before returning downtown. Runners can take on the full Marathon, the Half Marathon, or team up for the Team Relay (five legs covering the full 26.2 miles). A free Kids Fun Run takes place the day before, on Friday 25 September. Time limits on course: 6 hours 30 minutes for the Marathon, 3 hours 30 minutes for the Half Marathon. Results: MTEC.
