One of the region's biggest and best-supported 10K races, the event attracts runners of all ages and abilities. The 10K route winds from the stadium through Ipswich's main shopping area and around its historic centre, passing landmarks such as the Corn Exchange and the Town Hall, warmly cheered on by spectators who turn out in their hundreds along the way. Two supporting events complete the evening's schedule: the Suffolk Schools Daily Mile, a mass-participation event, and the Family Wave, both designed to appeal to younger runners and family groups. Entrants to the 10K must be at least 15, with parental consent required for all under-18s. For 2026, Ipswich Town Foundation — the charitable arm of Ipswich Town FC, supporting over 9,000 young people and vulnerable adults across Suffolk — has been announced as the event's new charity partner. The Twilight Road Races were founded by Ipswich JAFFA Running Club in 2015, bringing town-centre racing back to Ipswich after a 30-year gap. Results: raceresult.com.
