The Isle of Skye Half Marathon & 10K takes place on Saturday, 13 June 2026 at the Fingal Centre, Portree High School on Scotland's most dramatic island. Consistently ranked among the UK's top half marathons, this event combines a challenging, fully closed-road course with world-class Highland scenery: the Black Cuillin, purple heather moorlands, and the legendary River Snizort. The Half Marathon begins with a gradual climb from Portree, followed by undulating countryside, the infamous steep Hill at Drumuie (miles 7–10), and a fast 3-mile downhill back to the finish. Runners are sent off to the sound of the Pipe Band at 10:15. Post-race: a Ceilidh (traditional Scottish dancing), prize giving at 1pm, and the warmth of the Skye community. 1,000 places.
