Capital to Coast — The UK's iconic Bank Holiday challenge

The London 2 Brighton Ultra Challenge is the original and most iconic event in the Ultra Challenge® series — the UK's No.1 series of treks and trail challenges. On Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May 2026 (Bank Holiday weekend), around 2,000 adventurers set off from Old Deer Park, Richmond-upon-Thames, following the Capital to Coast trail south through the North Downs, the rolling Surrey and Sussex countryside, and over the South Downs Way, before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes into view. Five distance options accommodate every level — from a 25km introduction to the iconic full 100km challenge over two days. The halfway basecamp at Turners Hill, West Sussex (Tulley's Farm) offers optional camping and rest. Full support is provided throughout: signed route, Trekmasters on trail, medics, marshals and shuttle transfers.
