Plymouth Hoe — Devon's Greatest Running Day

The Britain's Ocean City Running Festival returns on Sunday 17 May 2026 with the iconic Plymouth Half Marathon, Plymouth 10K and 5K all starting from the historic Plymouth Hoe Promenade. Devon's biggest running event brings together 10,000+ participants and over 30,000 spectators lining the closed roads of one of Britain's most historic naval cities. The Half Marathon weaves through Plymouth's landmarks — the Royal Citadel, The Barcode, Drake's Circus, Theatre Royal — before venturing into the tranquil countryside of the Saltram Estate and returning to a stunning seafront finish past Smeaton's Tower. The 10K offers a flatter, faster alternative around the city and seafront — ideal for a PB.
