L'Allemand Johannes Rydzek a remporté la dernière épreuve de la Coupe du monde de combiné nordique samedi à Lahti (Finlande) dont le Français Jason Lamy-Chappuis, déjà assuré de finir la saison au 1er rang mondial, a pris la 5e place.
Au terme des 10km, Rydzek a devancé au sprint son compatriote Eric Frenzel et l'Autrichien Felix Gottwald qui disputait la dernière course de sa carrière.
Huitième après le concours de saut à skis, Lamy-Chappuis a opéré une belle remontée en ski de fond et a franchi la ligne d'arrivée une seconde après le vainqueur du jour.
Le Français de 24 ans avait déjà assuré l'essentiel la veille en terminant 3e de la première épreuve de Lahti, un résultat qui lui offrait un deuxième globe de N.1 mondial de suite.
Lamy-Chappuis détient tous les titres majeurs de son sport avec les lauriers olympiques en 2010, un titre mondial début mars à Oslo et la Coupe du monde.
