The Rocky River Run is Rockhampton's largest running event and Central Queensland's biggest charity fun run. 18th edition on Sunday 17 May 2026, Quay St Riverside Precinct. Four distances from the competitive Half Marathon (21.1km) to the family-friendly 2km Fun Run along the scenic Fitzroy River and through Rockhampton's heritage precinct. Run, walk, stroll, wheel — all abilities welcome. Every entry supports Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland and R U OK.

The flat, scenic course runs along the Fitzroy River — one of Queensland's widest rivers — and through Rockhampton's famous Victorian heritage streetscape.
