The Royal Windsor Triathlon Presented by Sigma Sports 2026 took place on Sunday 14 June 2026 in Windsor, Berkshire — celebrating its 35th anniversary since the event was first created in 1991. Firmly established as one of the most iconic triathlon events in the UK, the race offers a truly royal setting: an open water swim in the River Thames (watch out for swans!), a road cycle past Windsor Castle and into the Berkshire countryside, and a memorable run through Windsor Great Park along the historic Long Walk with the Castle providing a majestic backdrop. Sprint and Standard (Olympic) distances are available alongside Relay options — making it perfect for first-timers and experienced triathletes alike. The event village at Alexandra Gardens offers a lively atmosphere, free finisher goodies, and the support of charity partner Macmillan Cancer Support. Celebrity alumni include Jonny Wilkinson, Jenson Button, Gareth Thomas and Princess Beatrice.
