Results — Race Result → 🌐 1stplacesports.com →The Run for the Pies is one of Jacksonville's oldest and most competitive running events, first held in 1979 as the Lakewood Twilight Run and renamed in 1980. On Saturday June 13, 2026, downtown Jacksonville's James Weldon Johnson Park hosts two 5K races: an elite Championship race at 6:00 PM followed by the Open race at 6:30 PM, capped off by a large block party in the park. This is the final — and double points — event of the Jacksonville Grand Prix series, and the opening race of the Miller Summer Race Series alongside Tour de Pain and Summer Beach Run. Race proceeds support Duval County high school cross country and track programs, summer camp scholarships, and local running trails.
