Run Melbourne returns on Sunday, July 19, 2026, taking over the streets of Melbourne's CBD for what organisers call the city's largest winter running event. More than 28,000 runners are expected to race through fully closed roads, past the city's iconic landmarks, on a course that is largely flat and fast. Participants can choose between the Half Marathon (21.1km), the 10K, and the 5.5K, alongside a Kids Dash (2km) and charity-linked "Charity Superstar" entries across the timed distances. All courses except the Kids Dash are AIMS-certified and measured to World Athletics standards. All distances start on Batman Ave, with the event hub and finish line at Melbourne Park's Grand Slam Oval on Olympic Boulevard – home of the Australian Open – featuring finish-line celebrations, DJs and live music, and a dedicated Charity Lane. Run Melbourne has raised over $21 million for charity over the past 18 years. Results: SoleMotive.
