The Amazing Northampton Run 2026 – Results & Live Tracking

Join thousands of runners for a grand tour of everything great about Britain's largest town: The Amazing Northampton Run returns on Sunday, September 13, 2026, organised by The Amazing Northampton Run CIC and Go Beyond Sport. Starting at the entrance to the historic Market Square, the closed-road course loops out past landmarks including All Saints Church, the local Carlsberg Brewery (brewing in town for over 50 years), and follows the River Nene towards Sixfields Reservoir before climbing to Sixfields Stadium, home to Northampton Town since 1897. From there the route continues into Franklin's Gardens, home of Northampton Saints Rugby for 140 years, before crossing the railway near the gleaming Northampton International Academy.

Local runners will recognise the next stretch, through The Racecourse park, home of the town's Saturday morning parkrun, before passing the Central Mosque and running alongside the County Ground cricket pitch and the University of Northampton campus, through three of the town's parks, and finally back to a celebratory finish in Market Square. Runners can take on the full 13.1-mile half marathon, share the course as a three-person relay team (legs of roughly 4.1 to 4.8 miles), or opt for the more accessible 3 Mile Fun Run, perfect for beginners and families.
