Jonas Vingegaard a placé une attaque décisive à 1 km du sommet du Corno alle Scale, laissant Felix Gall à quelques secondes dans les lacets finaux. L'Autrichien de la Decathlon CMA CGM Team limite les dégâts à 12 secondes. Davide Piganzoli, coéquipier de Vingegaard chez Visma, prend une belle 3e place. L'époustouflant Afonso Eulálio est une nouvelle fois au-dessus, prenant une superbe 5e place à 41 secondes — son maillot rose reste intact. Giulio Pellizzari lâche encore et dégringole au général, tandis que Mathys Rondel s'offre un nouveau top 10.
