Organised by the Traralgon Harriers Athletic Club — founded in 1967 — this is the oldest continuously run marathon in Australia, held every year since 1968. Three distances follow the scenic Gippsland Plains Rail Trail through rural Gippsland. All finishers receive a medal. Food is provided post-race. A friendly, community country atmosphere makes it perfect for all runners.
