Results → 🌐 Official Race Page →The New Balance Bronx 10 Mile is a New York Road Runners (NYRR) staple and a genuine homecoming for the organization: NYRR was founded in 1958 at Macombs Dam Park in the Bronx, and its very first race was a 6-mile cross-country event in nearby Van Cortlandt Park. The 2026 edition runs on Saturday, September 19, as part of NYRR's Five-Borough Series alongside the NYC Half, Brooklyn Half, Queens 10K and Staten Island Half.
The course starts on the Grand Concourse just south of 165th Street, heading north past the Bronx County Courthouse toward Mosholu Parkway. Runners turn left, head west with a U-turn before Sedgwick Avenue, then continue east on Mosholu Parkway to Hull Avenue for a second U-turn before heading back south on the Grand Concourse toward the finish near River Avenue, close to a subway overpass and the Joseph Yancey Track — named for the founder of the New York Pioneer Club.
The 2026 race sold out well ahead of race day, with roughly 13,000 runners expected and NYRR's standby list also filled. More than a dozen local Bronx run clubs — including Bronx Burners, Bronx Sole, Boogie Down Bronx Runners and the Van Cortlandt Track Club — are expected on course, and hundreds of children take part in the free Boogie Down Kids Run beforehand. Results: NYRR.
