"It was not good but also not bad. I was hoping for a better time but the victory is important for us. The task is done. For me, this is like a revange for the last team championships but we still need to do well in the relays.Then, I will be really satisfied." a t'il expliqué.
I'm a little bit sad because I had to withdraw before the end of the competition due to the pain in my right quadriceps. I'm pretty happy about my result today and for getting 7 points for Team Germany.
My grandfather was born in Chorzow, this was my first time here and maybe because of him I threw over 90 m." a déclaré l'Allemand.
* Victoire du Tricolore Thomas Jordier en 45'65 sur 400m
"The teams are very equalled here at the championships so it is hard to predict how we will stand n this competition. I think the results today were very important for us. We will see tomorrow, after triple jump and other events.
I managed to improve the SB and followed my strategy to have fast first 200m. The French championships is ahead of me so hopefully I can do well. My target is to go under 45 because I am feeling well prepared." a avoué le Tricolore

"I got a bit angry in the second round, because I had to enter the circle three times before I could throw, maybe that emotion made me throw so far on the next attempt. The third throw was also technically better, although I don´t feel it was perfect.
I`m just starting to put to good use all the work I did in the winter. In better conditions I could still add to today`s distance, but it`s not that moment in the season yet. I`m also generally healthy, with only minor problems." a déclaré le Polonais.
* 100m haies : Déjà victorieuse du 100m samedi, l'incroyable Pia Skrzyszowska s'impose en 12'99
* 800m : Joli chrono et jolie victoire pour le Britannique Wightman en 1'45"70
* 200m dames : Victoire de Beth Dobbin (GBR) en 22'78 (+0.6m/s)
* 200m : 20'48 pour l'Italien Fostine Desalu (-1m/s)
* Triple saut : Succès probant avec 17m13 pour l'Allemand Max Hess
* Javelot dames : Après Vetter, c'est sa coéquipière Christin Hussong qui signe un record des championnats avec un superbe 69.19m
"I threw a personal best, so obviously I`m very pleased. I love the stadium and it´s a great place to compete. It rained a bit at the beginning, but overall the conditions were very good, not too cold and not too hot.
I had already thrown over 66 metres three times this year, and this result gives me even more confidence in myself. I will be going to the national championships next and after that the big goal is the Olympics.
At the last global championships, in Doha, I finished fourth, which wasn`t that great, and I hope for better this time. This is a team competition, so the whole team wins and loses together. We only finished fourth here, but we will be back next time! " a indiqué Hussong.
A huge throw from Christin Hussong in Silesia! 🚀
