The B.A.A. 10K 2026, presented by Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute, takes place on Sunday, 21 June 2026 starting at 8:00 AM from Charles Street, adjacent to Boston Common. Around 10,000 runners — from world-class elites to everyday athletes — tackle this iconic, fast, USATF-certified course through the heart of Boston and Cambridge. The route crosses the Longfellow Bridge in the opening mile with sweeping views of the Charles River, follows the flat and fast Memorial Drive along the Cambridge riverside, returns to Boston via the Massachusetts Avenue Bridge, passes through vibrant Kenmore Square and under the famous Citgo Sign, then runs down Boylston Street — crossing the legendary Boston Marathon finish line — before finishing on Charles Street. All finishers receive an adidas B.A.A. 10K participant shirt and the distinctive unicorn finisher medal. The race is the second event in the B.A.A. Distance Medley.
