Results & Live Tracking → 🌐 Official Website →The Bangkok Airways Sukhothai Half Marathon takes place Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Sukhothai Historical Park in Sukhothai province, Thailand — one of four stops on the Bangkok Airways Boutique Series 2026, alongside Samui, Chiang Mai and Trat. Both start and finish are inside the historical park itself.
In recent editions, the 21K Half Marathon has started at 4:30 AM from Wat Mahathat, following the NH12 road to a U-turn at Ramkhamhaeng University before turning at Wat Srichum and finishing back inside the park. The 10K Mini Marathon has started around 5:30 AM and the 5K (a non-competitive health run) around 6:00 AM, both sharing sections of the same route before finishing inside the park. Course details can be adjusted year to year, so runners should confirm the exact route on the official event page.
Runners pass 13th-century temples and ancient Buddha statues along a flat course well suited to fast times. The 21K category awards its top 5 men and women overall by gun time, with age-group awards (5 deep per category, from 20-29 to 70+) by chip time; the 5K and Kids Series remain non-competitive. Finishers of the 21K again receive the sought-after Finisher Shirt by PUMA.
