The 3rd FIS World Cup Ski Jumping Ladies took place today as scheduled in Hinterzarten. After only one round yesterday, 49 athletes competed in a 2-round competition.

The 18 year old Sarah Hendrickson (USA) won the competition by far (107.5m/104.5m/273.2pt), followed by young Sara Takanashi from Japan (100.5m/99.5m/242.6pt). Third was another American with Jessica Jerome (101.0m/101.0m/240.1pt). With the jump on 107.5m Sarah Hendrickson set the new Ladies’ hill record on the Adlerschanze.

- This is Sarah Hendrickson: born on 1.8.1994, won the historic first World Cup competition at Lillehammer, competed in both 2009 and 2011 World Championships finishing 29th and 16th.

- This is Sara Takanashi: born on 08.10.1996, started her international career in 2009 at Zao (JPN), competed in both 2010 and 2011 FIS Junior World Ski Championships finishing 7th and 6th and had already 16 TOP 10 results in Continental Cup.

- This is Jessica Jerome: born on 08.02.1987, starts for the Park City Nordic Ski Club, competed in both 2009 and 2011 World Championships finishing 6th and 14th. She has 21 podium finishes.
