15 champions olympiques et mondiaux individuels en titre - dont Mutaz Barshim, champion olympique et mondial du saut en hauteur, héros au Qatar - ainsi qu'une foule de médaillés de championnats majeurs, s'affronteront ce soir.
Les organisateurs, qui ont réuni un superbe plateau, annoncent comme temps forts le 100 m, 1 500 m et le saut à la perche féminins, ainsi que le 200 m, 3 000 m et le javelot masculins.

Les moments forts
* Lancer du disque hommes : Le colose Slovène Kristjan Ceh s'impose avec un énorme jet à 70.89m, record du meeting.
* 400m dames : Maryleidy Paulino, la Dominicaine, début sa saison avec une victoire en 50'51, chrono assez modeste.
* 3000m steeple dames : Winfred Mutile Yavi, Bharein, domine les Ethiopiennes et les Kenyanes avant de gagner en 9'04"38
* 400m haies : Déjà du lourd avec le succès de Rai Benjamin en 47'78, devant CJ Allen (USA), 47'93, PB, et le Tricolore Wilfried Happio 49'12

* Saut à la perche dames : L'Américaine Katie Moon passe 5.81m et enlève le concours.
* Triple saut hommes : Enorme concours, avec un vent favorable qui permet à Pedro Pichardo (POR) de s'envoler à 17.91m, juste devant Zango 17.81m, Diaz Hernandez 17.80m et Martinez 17.71m.
* Saut en hauteur hommes : Le polyvalent JuVaughn Harrison (USA) s'impose avec 2.32m.
* Javelot hommes : Le champion olympique Indien Neeraj Chopra signe le meilleur jet à 88.67m, 4cm de mieux que le Tchèque Jakub Vadlejch.
* 100m haies dames : Jasmine Camacho Quinn (PUE) commence très fort avec une victoire en 12'48.
* 800m hommes : L'Algérien Slimane Moula s'impose en 1'46"06
* 100m dames : Sha'Carri Richardson frappe très fort pour son retour en signant un chrono stratosphérique 10'76 avec un vent de +0.9sec. Jackson 2e en 10'85, Asher Smith 3e en 10'98

* 3000m hommes : Triplé Ethiopien avec une victoire de Lamecha Girma avec un excellent 7'26"18
* 200m hommes : Le favori Fred Kerley (USA) s'impose avec la manière en 19'92

* 1500m dames : On termine avec le succès attendu de la double championne olympique Faith Kypiegon (KEN) en 3'58"57
"I am very pleased with my start of the season, it was an exciting race, but a little bit windy, so I decided to not push too much and just focus on winning the race.
I have been training well, I really like racing in Doha, the crowd and fans are really amazing, thank you for comong out to cheer us os.
