On Friday and Saturday, August 21-22, 2026, downtown Flint hosts the 49th HAP Crim Festival of Races, built around the legendary Crim 10 Mile.
Multiple races are on the program across the two days, from the Michigan Mile to the historic 10-Mile. Results on Raceroster.
Results & Live Tracking → 🌐 Official Website →The HAP Crim Festival of Races takes place Friday and Saturday, August 21-22, 2026, in downtown Flint, Michigan, marking the 49th anniversary of the Crim 10-Mile, first run in 1977. The festival draws around 11,000 participants from 40 states and several foreign nations.
The weekend opens on Friday with the Michigan Mile, presented by UM-Flint, at 7:00 PM, starting at the corner of Kearsley & Harrison Streets. On Saturday, the historic 10-Mile starts near Saginaw & Kearsley Street, with the National Anthem at 6:45 AM followed by wheelers and hand cyclists (6:50 AM), elites (7:00 AM), the 30 Year Club (7:05 AM) and public waves (7:10 AM). The course is known for its Bradley Hills and the blue line guiding runners through Flint's neighborhoods.
The Half Crim 5-Mile follows at 9:00 AM, the Crim Family 5K at 10:00 AM, and the Teddy Bear Trot for kids at Noon, starting outside Flint City Hall. Bundles are also available, including the Crim Half Marathon (10 Mile + 5K) and the Bobby Crim Challenge (Michigan Mile + 10 Mile + 5 Mile + 5K, 19.1 miles total). Prize money returns for the open 10-Mile in 2026.
