Daniela Iraschko-Stolz (AUT): ”It was a pretty cool competition today, we where all so close. I think I had really good jumps, also on the trial round. Here in Ljubno it’s really good result for me. I got second and first place this weekend in my really favorite hill so looks good for the World Championships and I’m very happy. I don’t expect anything from the Falun, I don’t know the new hill. I’m in the good shape and my ski jumping has been really constant this season. I’m just exited and happy to go there and I will give my best.”
Sara Takanashi (JPN): Also today I’m very surprised about this result. I saw that Daniela went to first place after her jump. I thought that I would be the second but then I realized that we shared the first place. My jumping, my performance and also my feeling is going better and better. I hope that in Falun I can do the jumps in which I can be satisfied.”
Sarah Hendrickson (USA): ”I’m very exited to be second time in a row on a podium. I was just 1.1 points behind Daniela and Sara, so that’s a huge confident booster for me. Actually I didn’t have the best jumps for me technically, that’s nice to know I can still jump at the high level even I’m not having the best days. I’m really really satisfied with the weekend and exited to go to Falun. It’s been a rough two years for me and up until this weekend I had now expectations from myself. Of course now I’m looking for the better results because of this weekend but I have to focus on myself and I’m just trying to have fun, relax and trust myself in World Championships.”
