The Katanning Run 4 Resilience takes place on Sunday 16 August 2026 at Katanning, in Western Australia's Great Southern wheatbelt region, starting on the Great Southern Highway. Organised by Active Farmers, with support from Fat Farmers Ltd, the event is part of the wider Run4Resilience series, which is expanding this year from Western Australia into South Australia and Victoria. Four distances cater to every fitness level: the 3km, which can be walked, jogged or pushed as a pram course at an easy pace; the 7km, a single lap of the cross-country loop; the 14km, two laps of the same rural course; and the 21km Half Marathon, set against the backdrop of Katanning's stunning rural landscape. The cross-country style course winds through open farmland, along creeks and crops, and under wide, open skies, offering a challenging yet family-friendly day out. More than 200 participants are expected, building on the 256 registrations recorded at the previous Katanning edition.
