Results & Live → 🌐 Official Site →The Kent Downs 50 Ultra Challenge® is the end-of-season event of the Ultra Challenge® series, set in the “Garden of England”. It takes place on Saturday 10 October 2026 from a basecamp at Kent Showground, near Maidstone.
The main 50 km is a loop around the Kent Downs with about 1,000 metres of ascent. A 25 km and a 10 km option are also available, and participants can walk, jog or run. Up to 2,000 people take part.

The 50 km route around the Kent Downs
The 50 km loop heads anticlockwise around the Kent Downs. It starts on the North Downs Way to Blue Bell Hill, passes picturesque Aylesford and follows the River Medway to Mote Park at halfway.
The route then takes the Len Valley Walk to Leeds Castle and returns along the North Downs Way to the showground finish line.
Getting there and parking
Kent Showground is the basecamp, with parking on site. Shuttles run from Maidstone Station to the start, and the event is accessible by car or train.
