Les Norvégiens ont été déclarés vainqueurs à l'issue de la première manche alors que les conditions météo et le vent empêchaient le déroulement de la finale. Avec un total de 486,6 points, ils ont devancé l'Autriche (483,6 pts) et l'Allemagne (457,7 pts).

L'Autriche était toutefois privée de son leader Gregor Schlierenzauer, ménagé avant le concours individuel où il sera en concurrence avec le Suisse Simon Ammann pour la victoire au classement général de la Coupe du monde.

La France, avec en quatrième sauteur le spécialiste de combiné nordique François Braud, a pris la 11e place avec 337,3 points.

Tom Hilde (NOR): "It’s so nice to be on the podium and to finally beat the Austrians. This was our first victory in a team competition this season and that’s really good. When you have to wait you get cold and that’s not funny but you know that they are probably waiting for better conditions. We really love the new system with the wind factor. It’s perfect and it makes the competitions fairer. I don’t have bad things to say about it.”

 

Martin Koch (AUT): "The waiting was not easy but it doesn’t matter if there’s wind or not, when the light is green you have to jump. I tried to concentrate on my jump and I’m satisfied with it. It was very cold, but that’s our sport. I’m already looking forward to the skiflying World Championships and when I can jump like today I think I’m in a good shape.”

 

Michael Neumayer (GER): "It was not much wind, but it was changing and it was not easy for the jury to make this a good and fair competition. They tried their best. Now we only have one round, but it was a long round and it was good to cancel the final. I had good conditions and a good jump and we are happy about the result.”
