Eric Frenzel (GER): We had a very nice competition here in Oberwiesenthal today. For me it’s always special to compete in my home and it was really special to top off this experience with the victory together with Johannes today. We delivered a top competition: Johannes had a world class jump and we did everything right during the race. We worked together with our teammates and in the end, Johannes had a great finish."

Bernhard Gruber (AUT): It was a very good day for Austria in general. We showed a good performance on the hill. I was able to fire a bomb in the competition jump today and it was full on action on the roller ski track. We exchanged the lead with three teams but were able to save a second place in the end. Johannes was able to get away and Tino and me were a bit tired. I tried to attack at the end but the finish stretch got very long. But we are really happy with rank 2."

Björn Kircheisen (GER): It was a good competition for the whole German team today. We are not fully on the top level in the skiing part because we haven’t done any fast sessions yet but the jumping is working and our explosiveness on the track will come in the next three months."
