Le sauteur Autrichien s'impose pour la troisième fois de sa carrière à l'occasion du premier concours d'Oberstdorf disputé sur un tremplin géant. Gràce à deux superbes sauts autour des 220m, il devance le Japonais Ito et le revenant Ammann. A voir en vidéo, ça vaut le coup !

L'Autrichien Martin Koch a remporté samedi le concours de saut à skis d'Oberstdorf (Allemagne), devant le Japonais Daiki Ito, tandis que les ténors au classement général de la Coupe du monde n'ont pas brillé.
Avec 443,4 pts, Koch, 30 ans, a pris le meilleur sur Ito (433,2 pts) et le Suisse Simon Ammann (429,2 pts). L'Autrichien a été le seul à assurer un saut au-delà de 220 m (221,5 m) lors de sa deuxième tentative.
L'étape d'Oberstdorf n'a pas bouleversé le classement général. Le Norvégien Anders Bardal, qui a pris les commandes la semaine dernière à Willingen (Allemagne), reste en tête malgré sa 12e place samedi.
Ses poursuivants autrichiens n'ont pas fait beaucoup mieux: Gregor Schlierenzauer (2e), lauréat de la Tournée des Quatre tremplins, a terminé 7e, et Andreas Kofler (3e) a pris la 19e place.
Cette dernière partie de saison s'annonce vraiment passionnante avec, pour pimenter le tout, les prochains mondiaux de vol à ski qui se rapprochent !

Martin Koch (AUT): "I like Oberstdorf and Oberstdorf likes me. This season has not been easy for me so far. Even if I'm always having a good feeling when I come to Oberstdorf, this time I wasn't sure how I would perform. But my first jump was really great and that was so important for the second round. It is good for our team now to take the lead in the FIS Team Tour overall ranking and is going to make us stronger."
Daiki Ito (JPN): “I am very happy about my performance today. Now this competition is done and I have to focus on the next challenges. The good results are not only important for me but also for the whole team. At the moment I am in a good shape, so I won't change anything in view of the Skiflying World Championships in Vikersund. After I have been able to win in Sapporo this season, my goal is to achieve a victory in Europe."
Simon Ammann (SUI)): “It is great that I am back on the podium just in time. I managed to show two good jumps today and that was another step into the right direction. This season didn't go as planned for me, so I had to work very hard and improve a lot of small things. Now I have the feeling that I am on the right way and results like today definitely increase my self-confidence."
