Martin Koch (AUT): "The conditions today were difficult but we're used to that by now, we had a lot of competitions with wind this season. You just have to jump and wait what happens in the air. But it feels amazing to finally have my first victory on a large hill and it is a really good feeling to do this here at the Holmenkollen. I know I am in good shape and today I just used the conditions I had and won."
Severin Freund (GER): "The second place today feels really good. You cannot wait for jumps like my second one in the competition, you just have to let them happen and then enjoy it from the start to the end. All in all, I am very satisfied with my season. Last year was a complete surprise to me with my three victories. This winter, I had no victories but a lot of good results. After some hard years for German ski jumping, this year has been quite good with me and Richard Freitag being able to be on the podium anytime. There's a lot happening in our team right now which is the result of hard work and patience. We had patience and we worked hard and now we earned our share."
Robert Kranjec (SLO): ""It's a very nice feeling to be Ski Flying World Champion but also quite stressful. I was at home for two days and it was television and radio and so on from 8AM to 12PM, so I was a little bit tired. After that I needed some time to recharge my batteries but now everything's perfect again and I'm really happy with my third place today. Even if the conditions were a little difficult and you sit up there and see some jumpers do really well and others not, you just have to focus on yourself and just do your jump."
