On August 21-23, 2026, the Bali United Training Center in Gianyar Regency hosts the Maybank Marathon Bali, with race day on Sunday, August 23.

Results & Live Tracking → 🌐 Official Site →The Maybank Marathon Bali takes place from August 21 to 23, 2026 at the Bali United Training Center in Gianyar Regency, east of Ubud, with the main race day on Sunday, August 23. First held in 2012, it was Indonesia's first marathon and has been part of the official Boston Marathon qualifying race directory since 2013.
In 2020, the event became Indonesia's first and only World Athletics 'Elite Label' marathon, one of the sport's highest international distinctions.
The marathon (42.195km, 7-hour cutoff) and half marathon (21.0975km, ~3.5-hour cutoff) wind through lush rice paddies, oceanfront roads and traditional Balinese villages, blending scenic beauty with a technical challenge. The 10K (~2-hour cutoff) offers a shorter taste of the same course. All races start and finish in front of the Bali United Training Center.
Beyond the race, the event celebrates Balinese culture with live local performances and traditional music, and integrates sustainability initiatives such as mangrove planting and waste management.
