Femke Bol, première du 400m haies en 53,95

"There is so much athmosphere here. It was my first 400 hurdles race this season so that is always a a little bit scary and for a home crowd you want to execute and show the best of yourself. I am very satisfied, I am fit and in shape.

On the weather, my coach told me to just enjoy and focus on my race and not to let distract myself, and that is what I did. I am happy with that. I will race in Rome in a couple of days, and hoping to run faster in warm dry weather."

Anderson Peters, impressionnant au javelot avec 90.75m

"This feels good to throw a 90+. I was worried about the circumstances, this is to cold for me, it was windy and sometimes rainy. My hands were so cold that I had no feeling in it the first throw. Normally I like to throw my best throw the first attempt.

I have to improve the amount of 89+ throws. Today at the FBK Games Hengelo, the crowd was lovely. The battle between me and Weber was great. We like to see who is the best man of the day. Looking forward to defent my title at WC."

Mondo Duplantis s'impose à la perche avec 6.01m

"This is my second home! Hengelo is a perfect place to jump. The track is fast, the run-up is good situated, the wind is nearly always good. Mother nature was just nog in a good mood today.

I had to use smaller poles and I could nog grip as high as I would. A good place with less good weather luckily gave me another 6+ jump."

Yohan Blake gagne le 100m en 10'11

"The crowd is amazing, the conditions are not the best now. I put in the work, the feeling is right there; I am not worried, I have a great coach and a good team. Hengelo is taking good care of me. Thank you all!"
