The Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival returns for its 48th edition on October 10-11, 2026, with a new two-day format and an iconic finish inside the Melbourne Cricket Ground on both days.

The festival offers the marathon (42.195 km), a wheelchair marathon, the half marathon (21.1 km), a 10km run, a 5km run and a family-friendly 2.5km walk. All races start on Batman Avenue, 150 metres north of Rod Laver Arena.
