2/ Daniel Huber (AUT) : 255.7 points = 3e podium en carrière
3/ Robert Johansson (NOR) : 254.1 points = 10e podium en carrière
L'Allemand Markus Eisenbichler, leader du général avant ce concours, avait pris la tête après un superbe saut en première manche.
Malheureusement pour lui, il va se prendre une grosse rafale dans le dos juste après la table d'élan lors de son deuxième passage. Dégouté, énervé, il se pose à 8àm seulement avant de terminer 28e.
Halvor Egner Granerud, 2e avant ce concours, n'en demandait pas tant. Il s'impose pour la 2e fois consécutive et prend le dossard jaune au général.
L'Autrichien Daniel Huber profite de l'absence de certains ténors, Kraft, Stoch, Prevc, par exemple, pour terminer 2e juste devant un Robert Johansson auteur du plus long saut de la soirée avec 142.5m.

"The conditions were challenging today because the wind was really changing. But for is this doesn't really change much, it's always the same things that matter. We have do show our normal jumps and then everything should be fine."

"I'm really happy about my result today. Of course, you also needed a bit of luck in this competition, but that's part of the game and we have to deal with it. I already felt quite confident in Wisla and now I'm very happy that I could also present myself in such a good shape here in Nizhny Tagil."
Robert Johansson (NOR):
"The first jump was quite okay, but the result was not that good so the only chance was to show a very good jump in the second round. Of course, this is a fantastic day for me with the third place and the hill record. As Norwegians we are supposed to say that we are used to cold temperatures, but I really felt the cold today."
