Toujours du spectacle
Les as de la discipline continuent de régaler les fans sur cette fin de saison, très bonne idée, entièrement consacrée au vol à skis. Après les mondiaux de Vikersund, le titre de Marius Lindvik, voici Oberstdorf, et la semaine prochaine ce sera folie totale à Planica.
Vu l'état de forme affiché par les Slovènes, on devrait approcher les 50 000 fans quotidiens autour du Velikanka, dans quelques jours, avec pourquoi pas, des sauts autour des 250m.
En attendant on se contente volontiers des bonds magnifiques, effectués cet après midi par Stefan Kraft, 25e succès en carrière, et par le Slovène Ziga Jelar, premier podium en carrière, mesurés à 232m.
Lors de la seconde manche, les deux hommes ont sauté un petit peu moins loin mais l'Autrichien a conservé sa place. Derrière lui c'est comme à Vikersund, un escadron Slovène avec Jelar, Zajc, Lanisek, sans oublier le grand P.Prevc au 8e rang.
Les Norvégiens, privés de Tande et Johansson, terminent 6e avec Lindvik et 7e avec l'espoir Heggli, brillant dès ses débuts sur le circuit.
Quant à la lutte pour la coupe du monde, entre Kobayashi et Geiger, elle reste indécise suite à la 10e place du Nippon et la 9e de l'Allemand.

"It was a really cool day. The second jump was not perfect, but I think it was just right. The conditions in the second round were not that easy, but I could have shown a bit more courage.
It was enough to win, so it's fine. It's incredible that I now have 25 wins, I would have never dared to dream that I can stand on top of the podium 25 times."
Ziga Jelar (SLO):
"The result of our team today was amazing, I think we showed how strong we are in Ski Flying. I was watching Ski Flying in Planica since I was three years old, so it's really important for me to be strong in Ski Flying.
The conditions today were challenging, but the guys who came out on top today also jumped well in training. Today you needed the right conditions and a really good jump to achieve a top result. Tomorrow I just want to enjoy Ski Flying again."
Timi Zajc (SLO):
"It was a good competition for me. I'm on the podium and that's always awesome. The conditions in the second round were a bit difficult, the wind was sometimes changing from head to tailwind, you needed a bit of luck. I had two great jumps today and I hope it'll be the same tomorrow."
