Les réactions (source FIS) :
Sabrina Windmueller (SUI), first:
"I had a very good feeling already when I stood up at 6 a.m. I enjoy Skijumping and the OC here at Hinterzarten did a very good job filling in for Schonach/Schoenwald."
"For me it is no big difference between a Continental Cup and a World Cup except from the TV attention. But there is a big difference in between the teams. We are only a ‘one woman team’ and we have to coordinate e.g. the physiotherapist with the men’s team whereas for example the German Ladies team has their own PT and technician."
"Sometimes it is very hard to combine studying with being a professional sports woman. But today I was lucky as my next class at University was rescheduled from today to tomorrow due to the snow conditions at Switzerland. So I am looking forward to the competition tomorrow."
Lindsey Van (USA), second:
"It is great to finally compete in the World Cup although it has the same competitors than the Continental Cup. I am very happy with my jump today and of course with the result.”
“I had no expectations when I came here as I had an ankle surgery in October and I was sick last month. But I was able to make some good jumps back in the US and now I am happy to compete in the World Cup.”
Lisa Demetz (ITA), third:
"I had a very good feeling today and I am happy that we were able to have the competition here at Hinterzarten. I had a lot of fun."
“For me, there is definitely a difference between World Cup and Continental Cup. All the media attention and the TV cameras make a big difference for me.”
„We were able to have a lot of training jumps in between the competitions at Lillehammer and here so we were able to bridge the time gap.”
