Results & Live Tracking — Ragnar Trail Rainier 2026
On August 21-22, 2026, teams gather at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort, about two hours from Seattle, for Ragnar Trail Rainier, a two-day, one-night trail relay on National Forest land.
Teams tackle three alpine loops relay-style, with high mountain lakes, waterfalls, flowing creeks and a mid-race gondola ride to the summit. Results on RaceTec.
Results & Live Tracking → 🌐 Official Website →Ragnar Trail Rainier takes place August 21-22, 2026, at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort in Crystal Mountain, Washington, roughly two hours outside Seattle. Teams camp on-site and conquer a series of three trail loops on National Forest land relay-style over two days and one night, taking on some of the most challenging terrain in the Ragnar Trail series, with around 2,700 feet of climbing.
The course winds through high mountain alpine lakes, waterfalls and flowing creeks, with sweeping views of Mt. Rainier throughout. A highlight of the weekend is the mid-race gondola ride to the top of the mountain, along with a unique mountaintop hand-off between teammates. Standard Teams run with 8 runners over the full two days and one night, while Ultra Teams field 4 runners covering more distance each. Teams not wanting the overnight commitment can instead register for the Trail Sprint version held the same weekend, running the yellow and red loops only.
Off the course, Ragnar Village offers camping and glamping, bonfires, live music, yoga and on-site food vendors, with an optional extra night of activities starting Thursday. Teams that also run Ragnar Road Northwest Passage in 2026 earn an exclusive double medal.
