Results & Live → 🌐 Official Website →The Robin Hood Half Marathon is one of the longest-established and most popular city-centre road races in the UK. On Sunday, 27 September 2026, it celebrates 45 years of running in Nottingham.
The single-lap, traffic-free 13.1-mile course starts at 9:30am beside the River Trent on Victoria Embankment. Early landmarks include Nottingham Castle, the Robin Hood Statue and the historic Nottingham Park Estate.
The route then reaches Wollaton Park, where runners may spot the resident deer, before heading back to Victoria Embankment. The course is undulating rather than flat, with gentle inclines around miles 2, 4 and 6 that reward controlled pacing.
Charity is at the heart of the race: participants raised more than half a million pounds in 2025, and the 2026 edition features the largest charity partner programme in its history, led by Brain Tumour Research. The Robin Hood Mini Marathon (1.5 miles) follows at 10:00am for families and younger runners.
