31eme victoire en coupe du monde
Sara Takanashi ne fait pas dans le détail. Sur le tremplin olympique de Lillehammer elle a nettement dominé ses rivales et remporte ce premier concours avec 251.7 points avec deux sauts à 95.5m et 97.5m.
Deuxième place surprise pour la Slovène Maja Vtic qui s'est envolée en première manche avant de se poser à 101.5m, meilleure longueur de la journée. Elle termine avec un total de 240.2 points et un second podium en carrière.
Le maigre public Norvégien venu assister au concours aura apprécié la troisième place de Maren Lundby avec un total de 233.6 points, troisième podium en carrière.

Daniela Iraschko, vainqueur du globe 2015, se classe 4eme devant ses trois coéquipières Autrichiennes Hoelzl, Seifriedsberger et Pinkelnig.
Les trois Françaises qualifiés pour ce concours manquent leur affaire et la manche finale. Ce sera un 31eme rang pour Julia Clair, la 32eme place pour Lea Lemare et la 35eme pour Coline Mattel.
Un résultat d'ensemble décevant et rageant, surtout pour Julia Clair qui avait remporté la qualification.

Sara Takanashi (JPN): “I didn't expect to win, but of course my goal was to stand on top of the podium and I'm very happy now. If you want to achieve good results, you need to jump consistently under all conditions. Of course my goal is to win the overall World Cup title this winter, but the most important thing is that I focus on my jumps."
Maja Vtic (SLO): "I'm really happy but also a little bit surprised. I didn't expect to be on the podium in the first competition. About the upcoming weekend: I was in Nizhny Tagil once, but in summer. I'm in a good shape and it's nice to jump anywhere, if you are jumping well."
Maren Lundby (NOR): "It's really nice to be on the podium, especially on the home hill. It's a good start of the season. I knew I can be on the podium but I didn't expect it today, although I had the feeling that I'm on the right track. The conditions were okay, it was a bit changing but I think it was better than yesterday."
