L'Autrichien Gregor Schlierenzauer a remporté, en l'absence de son grand rival le Suisse Simon Ammann, le dernier concours individuel de la Coupe du monde de saut à skis avant les jeux Olympiques 2010 (12-28 février), samedi à Willingen.
Schlierenzauer, N.1 mondial l'hiver dernier, s'est imposé avec des sauts à 142,5 et 137,5 m pour un total de 273,7 points.
Il a décroché sa 32e victoire sur le circuit mondial à 20 ans devant le Norvégien Anders Jacobsen (139 et 138,5 m, 269 pts) et l'Allemand Michael Neumayer (140,5 et 141 m, 264,5 pts).
L'Autrichien tentera de remporter son premier titre d'importance au Canada alors qu'il a pris l'habitude ces derniers hivers de rater la dernière marche dans les grands rendez-vous.
Amman a fait l'impasse sur ce dernier week-end de Coupe du monde avant le rendez-vous de Vancouver, mais il conserve la première place au classement général de la Coupe du monde avec 1249 points, contre 1192 à Schlierenzauer.
Les sauteurs français faisaient leur retour sur le circuit après un stage de préparation aux JO-2010: Emmanuel Chedal s'est classé 16e (129 et 133 m, 232,1 pts) et Vincent Descombes-Sevoie 23e (133,5 et 125 m, 218,7 m).
L'étape de Willingen se termine dimanche par un concours par équipes, ultime répétition générale avant Vancouver. (avec AFP)

" I had problems with the binding. Thanks to god there was the emergency kit and somebody helped me to repair the binding. It was a big challenge to keep the concentration after this situation. The competition was a big motivation. Now i´m flying home and on monday i will fly to Vancouver".
