Victoire surprise
Sergei Ridzik a réussi un gros coup sur la piste olympique de Secret Garden. Très à l'aise sur ce tracé, il va dominer les ténors de la discipline et venir chercher son 2e succès en coupe du monde, cinq ans ou presque, après le premier.
Le Canadien Brady Leman termine deuxième pour un 29e podium en carrière. Et la France sera également à la fête grâce à Bastien Midol, 16e Top 3 en carrière pour le trentenaire du Grand Bornand.
François Place se classe 9e, Romain Mari 16e, Terence Tchiknavorian 23e et Jean Frederic Chapuis 28e.
