Both the full marathon and half marathon travel through downtown Sioux Falls, past the iconic Falls Park, and along one of the nation's top-ranked urban bike trail systems. The course is mostly flat and fast, with roughly 600 feet of total elevation change and a few rolling hills between miles 8.5 and 14. Start and finish are near Howard Wood Field, with marathoners crossing the line on the stadium track.
