Results & Live → 🌐 Official Website →The VyStar Emerald Trail 5K/10K returns for its 7th edition on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Title sponsor VyStar Credit Union and organizer JTC Running, with 1st Place Sports, bring runners and walkers downtown for a cause.
The race takes participants along the LaVilla Link and the S-Line Rail Trail Link of the Emerald Trail, with tree-lined paths, historic parks, restored ponds and two public art installations.
JTC Running covers all race expenses, so 100% of proceeds benefit Groundwork Jacksonville, the city's nonprofit partner in building the 30-mile Emerald Trail and restoring McCoys Creek and Hogans Creek. The trail will ultimately connect 14 historic neighborhoods to downtown and the St. Johns River.
All entrants receive a custom-designed race shirt, and all finishers a custom medal. The event offers chip timing, live results and pre- and post-race activities.
